My current
research obsession is so extremely exciting you might just want to sit down…or
not. LOL! It’s caulking!
Ok, so not so exciting, but I have discovered some interesting tips and tricks in my research that I thought I would share.

Did you know they have a product to help keep the caulk smooth when you are removing the excess? I didn't! It is called GE Caulk Smoother Silicone Caulking Aid. You can buy it here. A more thrifty solution for smoothing caulk is a combination of soap and water in a spray bottle. This forum thread has many other tips too, including use of a popsicle stick!
This article goes into depth on how to caulk a shower or tub enclosure, although I think there are some gems that can be used to caulk anything anywhere. This one is chock full of information too.
Sandra,
from sawdustgirl gives a great tip about how to keep your caulk from drying
out in the tube.
That's all I have for now. If I find more I'll give you an update. Now, time for caulking!
