Hi! I’m
Kathy. I’m a small town, country girl who really loves to do online research.
This means that I routinely find a wide array of things that pique my interest
and I'm driven to learn all I can about them! I have a tendency to throw myself
into projects (generally something craft or DIY in nature) where I know just
enough to get into trouble and then have to feel my way through the rest.
Normally, it works out fine.
I and my
Honey are very interested in living a green and sustainable life, and we are
planning a little homestead converting a shipping container as our house,
utilizing solar and wind turbine energy, setting up a water catchment, and
having a garden, as well as some goats and chickens. This is in the planning
stages, but when we are able to really being the work I hope to document it
here.
I cook...I
don't like to cook, but when I do, it most always comes out tasty. I view
recipes as suggestions, and I never measure anything. This is the main reason I
don't like to bake...baking requires measuring. I will make an exception for
brownies, however. This will be why most of the meal ideas (aka: recipes) I
share will be without measurements.
